Outside Inside Axe Kick

The Outside Inside Axe Kick comes from outside your body to in. Make sure and keep your leg straight just like you do on a Stretching Kick. It’s called an “Axe Kick” because you are swinging your leg like an axe and bringing it down on your opponent. Be careful throwing this kick during sparring, it’s really easy to break your opponents nose when the kick lands properly. That is great for Black Belt Full Contact Sparring, not good for fellow students in class!
